The orchestra

With his new album "Il Cannone" in tribute to Paganini Frédéric Moreau, Music director and soloist, has adapted a repertoire where virtuosity occupies an important place. Fervent defender of the music of the most charismatic virtuoso of all time, Niccolò Paganini, he makes a point of honor to rediscover his magic to the public.

Unanimously winner of violin and chamber music first prizes from the Paris Conservatoire, Frédéric Moreau founded in 1995 the orchestra "Les Violons de France".

This string ensemble quickly gained a great success thanks to two essential qualities: the exceptional virtuosity of its musicians and soloists, and the extraordinary complicity which lives within the members of the orchestra.

Captivating the audience with his interpretations, his charisma and his incredible virtuosity, Frédéric Moreau is invited in many French and international festivals: the Montpellier Radio Festival of Montpellier, "Celebrity Concert Series" (USA) ... and in prestigious concert halls in Paris and around the world: Baletto di Millano (Italy), Seoul Art Center (South Korea).

Aware of its social role, the "Les Violons de France" orchestra regularly supports humanitarian actions and organizations (APEI, ADAPEI, Rotary Club, Lions Club, "Art Works for Kids", etc ...).

The orchestra is also dedicated to the musical training of young people through educational thematic shows whose aspect both fun and educational, is a great success with children, teachers and parents.

Frédéric Moreau's devilishly virtuosic violin, like a Paganini, provokes enthusiasm on stage and unfolds a kind of extraordinary firework: a music that makes you happy!

Educational shows

What is music?

Should we understand it or just be bewitched?

What is a melody, a rythme, ...?

Around a series of thematic shows, "Les Violons de France", under the direction of Frédéric Moreau, share their passion for music in a fun and educational way.

  • The sound, the rhythm
  • What is a melody?
  • The musical phrase
  • W.A Mozart
  • The descriptive music ...

Since 1993, Frédéric Moreau has hosted hundreds of shows for both children and their parents. The strength of this educational formula is to be accessible to all audiences, without the need for prior knowledge. Learning to listen is a necessary training in our communciation society. It is also learning to feel, to know and develop our emotions, our personality.

This formula also has the advantage of demystifying the "great music" too often felt as the prerogative of an elite. By learning to know the musicians, listening to the sound of their instruments, watching how they work and understanding the role of each, all apprehension disappears to make room for the evocative magic of music

As seen in the press
